How to choose your leggings size: measuring guide and size chart

Choosing the right size is what separates leggings you love from leggings that end up in the drawer. Too small and they squeeze and dig in; too big and they slip down and lose their shaping effect. The good news: measuring yourself properly takes two minutes and saves you exchanges and returns.

Why size matters so much in shaping leggings

High-waisted push-up leggings work through compression: the waistband supports your tummy and the fabric lifts your glutes. That compression only works when it is just right. So instead of going by your usual trouser size, go by your measurements.

How to measure yourself step by step

  1. Use a flexible tape measure and measure yourself in underwear, standing up and relaxed.
  2. Waist: wrap the tape around the narrowest part of your torso (usually just above the belly button). Keep it horizontal, without pulling tight.
  3. Hips: wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips and glutes, feet together and the tape parallel to the floor.
  4. Write down both measurements and compare them with the chart for the model you want.
Tip: if your waist and hips fall into different sizes, go by your hips: that is the area that most affects how leggings fit.

Between two sizes?

  • Sculpt (seamless): the fabric is very stretchy. Choose the smaller size for more shaping effect, or the larger one if comfort comes first.
  • Essential Pocket: choose the larger size for extra comfort, especially if you run with your phone in the pocket.
